National Park Medical Center

National Park Medical Center employees were recently honored at an awards luncheon held Thursday, May 24, at Hot Springs Country Club.  The luncheon was hosted by Jerry Mabry, Capella Healthcare’s Arkansas Region President, and emceed by Sandra Culliver, NPMC’s Director of Human Resources.  Employees were recognized for their years of service, as well as for being “star” employees.  “National Park Medical Center has a great team of people who stay focused on delivering quality healthcare while maintaining the highest standards of customer service,” said Mabry.  “We are proud to be able to recognize those employees who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of their co-workers and their patients.”

NPMC’s Star Recognition program honors two star employees (2 years+ tenure), two rising star employees (fewer than 2 years tenure) and a star manager (Department head) every quarter.  The recognition is based on a unique level of dedication to the workplace and high standards of performance.  Annually, a Star Employee, Rising Star and Star manager for the year are chosen.  At this most recent luncheon, the 2011 NPMC Annual Stars were announced as Rising Star Jessica Kemp from the Cardiology Associates of Hot Springs clinic; Star Employee Loretta Castle from the laboratory; and Star Manager, Mandy Golleher of Marketing.

The Rising Stars for the 4^th Quarter of 2011 and 1^st Quarter of 2012 were Shannon Acevado, Jessica Kemp, Josh Long and Vicki Brown.  The Star Employees for the 4^th Quarter of 2011 and 1^st Quarter of 2012 were Jeff Mullins, Debbie Spann, Gail Wyrick and Gwen Hess.  The Star Manager for the 4^th Quarter of 2011 was Ruth Kelly and the Star Manager for the 1^st Quarter of 2012 was Steve Kelly.
