    Thirty-nine young women from the Garland County area were recently welcomed into the 2020-2021 American Heart Association (AHA) Hot Springs Sweetheart program, presented by National Park Medical Center (NPMC).  This is the 15th year for the Hot Springs Sweetheart program.

The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's mission to recognize the extraordinary, compassionate nursing care they provide patients and families every day. The Inaugural NPMC DAISY Award honorees are Daphne Green, RN, Med 2 Unit; Kaitlyn Arnold, RN, Emergency Department; Linda Lee, LPN, Med/Surg Unit; Lakeisha Perry, RN, Maternal/Child; Emily Dunn, RN, Emergency Department; and the inaugural NPMC DAISY Award winner, Matt McFarland, RN, Emergency Department.

  • National Park Medical Center CEO Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

    In recognition of October’s designation as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, National Park Medical Center’s CEO, Scott Smith, is wearing pink all month long as a participant in the 2020 Real Men Wear Pink Arkansas campaign.  The campaign, which raises funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society (ACS), includes a total of 23 men from across the state of Arkansas and runs through the entire month of October.
