National Park Medical Center welcomes Stephanie Heffer to its board of directors

August 20, 2025

National Park Medical Center is pleased to announce Stephanie Heffer has joined its board of directors. Heffer is the VP, Private Banking Advisor with Arvest in Hot Springs Village and is deeply involved in both the Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village communities.

Heffer said she is excited to be able to serve the greater Hot Springs area community through the NPMC Board of Directors. “I have much to learn, but I am excited to better understand how NPMC impacts not just Hot Springs but our entire region,” she said.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie Heffer to our Board of Directors,” said Scott Bailey, CEO. “Stephanie brings with her many years of executive leadership experience with Arvest Bank and Hot Springs Village. We are deeply grateful for her willingness to serve. Her strong consumer and community perspective will be invaluable as we continue to shape the future of healthcare in our region. Stephanie joins us with a true servant’s heart, and we are excited to have her as part of our team.”

Having been raised in a family that prioritized giving back, Heffer said service to the community is part of her DNA.

“Everyone at some point in their life will need medical care, and those moments are often when we are at our most vulnerable. I want to be a part of making that process as comforting as possible,” she said. She added that hospitals are the heart of the community and profoundly impact all the patients they serve.

Heffer said she believes it is the smaller efforts that eventually move the needle in an impactful way for making communities healthier, especially the smaller, underserved areas.

“I hope my background in community engagement and organizational leadership will serve the hospital well in improving patient care and strengthening NPMC’s relationship with the region,” she said.
