National Park Medical Center to welcome General Surgery APRN

National Park Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner Brittney Shanek to its team at National Park Surgery Specialists.
Shanek holds a master’s in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and specializes in general surgery. She holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
“I look forward to working with the amazing surgical team at National Park Medical Center and helping serve the greater Hot Springs community,” Shanek said.
She will work alongside Drs. Christian Latham, Valentino Piacentino III, and Oscar Talledo.
Shanek specializes in incision and drainage, wound care/wound VAC treatments, port access, pre- and post-operative care for lipomas, diverticulitis, GERD, nephrology access, gallbladder conditions, all other general surgery needs.
She has two children and loves spending time with family and watching Razorback sports.
National Park Surgery Specialists is located at 1900 Malvern Ave., Suite 301, which is on the third floor of the medical offices building adjacent to the hospital. They are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
